By Connor Hayes Last Friday was an auspicious day for Jacksonville, FL.
The downtown traffic was backed up, and every parking lot around the waterfront district was nearly full to capacity, yet fans didn't seem to mind walking blocks to see alternative mainstays like Young the Giant, Alt-J, and New Politics. 15 bands ended up taking the two stages at the 24 hour festival, which was held in the Metropolitan Park fairgrounds.
Some of the notables included industry standards, such as Fall Out Boy, and Weezer. However, there were a great many up and coming acts as well: J. Roddy Walston and The Business showcased both their southern rock swagger and their voluminous manes, while Sleeper Agent reminded showgoers of why their performances are a must see.
Denim Solves Everything was able to catch performances by Alt-J, New Politics, Weezer, and Fall Out Boy. Check them out below!
